NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission is pleased to announce that it is seeking individuals, organizations, and other entities to apply for 2027 summer program partnerships. These partnerships will support NORD Summer Camps, which serve youth ages 4-12 and teens ages 13-15.
“Strong partnerships help us bring more opportunities, experiences and resources to young people across New Orleans,” said Natasha Robinson, Interim CEO of NORD Commission. “We encourage organizations and individuals who have a meaningful program or service to offer our youth to apply and be part of the 2027 summer season.”
Key dates and details for the Summer 2027 partnership process are as follows:
Application Release Date: Monday, Oct. 5
Technical Assistance Workshops (Mandatory for all applicants):
Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Milne Recreation Center
Thursday, Oct. 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Milne Recreation Center
Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 5:00 p.m. at Treme Recreation Center
(Note: Applicants must attend one of the sessions, but do not need to attend all.)
Application Deadline: Friday, Nov. 13 by 5:00 p.m.
Providers will be required to enter into a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with the City of New Orleans before their programs can be activated once their applications are approved.
