NEW ORLEANS – Urban South Brewery is proud to announce its third annual Tailgate Fest on Saturday, Sept. 19, a full-day celebration in partnership with Manning Family Children’s. The all-day celebration will bring together college football, live music, family-friendly activities and a special beer release while raising support for ongoing pediatric cancer research at Manning Family Children’s.
The day kicks off at 11 a.m. with Tulane taking on the Kansas State Wildcats, accompanied by the Tulane Alumni Band. Live music will continue the festivities at 3 p.m. before LSU faces Ole Miss at 6 p.m., with the Tiger RagTag Marching Band bringing game-day energy to the taproom.
Families can also enjoy the Kid Zone, made possible by 10K Sports Drink, featuring a bounce house, games and activities throughout the day. Guests can also join the Paradise Park Challenge, where competitors will throw footballs through a giant Paradise Park can for a chance to win free Paradise Park for a year.
Urban South will also unveil Orange Wheat Winner, a limited-edition beer available exclusively at the taproom. Proceeds from the special release will support the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Manning Family Children’s and its continued pediatric cancer research efforts.
