NEW ORLEANS – The team at Paradigm Gardens shares the space is welcoming fall with one of its most varied public-event lineups yet, led by the debut of Off the Record – a new monthly series pairing globally inspired food, curated DJ sets and garden-fresh cocktails beneath the stars in New Orleans’ premier urban garden.
Running from September through December, the fall calendar also includes the return of Paradigm Gardens’ Chef Showcase, Brunch Market, Baby Goat Yoga, and a Yacht Rock night, giving locals and visitors a slate of food, music, wellness and community events throughout the season.
Introducing Off the Record
Designed as a weekday escape without leaving the city, Off the Record combines two featured chefs, a vinyl DJ curating music around each evening’s cultural theme, and a rotating food and cocktail program in Paradigm Gardens’ lush, open-air setting.
Tickets are $20 and include admission to the experience, with food and drinks available for purchase separately. Off the Record is an adults-only series.
The bar program will be led by star-tender Erika Flowers of Taste of the Tropics, bringing garden-fresh cocktails designed to complement each night’s food and music. Menus will change with every edition and will be released in the week leading up to each event.
The inaugural fall schedule includes:

“Off the Record is something we’ve wanted to create for a while,” said Joel Hitchcock of Paradigm Gardens. “The idea is to make a Monday night feel like you’ve hopped on a plane and travelled somewhere else for the evening – great chefs cooking food inspired by a place or culture, a vinyl DJ building the soundtrack around it, thoughtful cocktails, and the garden tying everything together. It’s less formal than our Chef Showcase events, more spontaneous, and built around discovery.”
Chef Showcase Returns for Four Fall Dates
Paradigm Gardens’ signature Chef Showcase series returns this fall on Sept. 29, Oct. 20, Nov. 17 and Dec. 8, from 6:30 – 9 p.m.
Each Chef Showcase brings together four top chefs for a collaborative, seasonal dining experience accompanied by live music and drinks. Chefs are given the freedom to cook outside the constraints of their restaurant menus, using seasonal ingredients and Paradigm Gardens’ wood-fire oven and grill to create dishes specifically for the event.
Chef Showcase tickets are $100 and include admission, all food, drinks and live musical entertainment.
“Chef Showcase has become one of the events that really defines Paradigm Gardens,” Hitchcock said. “People come because they know the chefs are going to take risks, interact with the crowd and cook something they may never serve in their restaurants. The fall season gives us another chance to keep pushing that format while introducing completely different experiences like Off the Record.”
