NEW ORLEANS — NOLAxNOLA (NOLA by NOLA) returns September 24 – October 4, 2026, for its sixth year, bringing more than 300 performances to 50 venues across New Orleans for 11 days to showcase New Orleans musicians and cultural artists while supporting the venues and creative community that help define the city’s live entertainment scene. NOLAxNOLA is a prime time to visit New Orleans with the city’s legendary venues packed with special programming, surprise guests and free shows:

NOLAxNOLA Talks returns for its third year on October 1 and 2 at the New Orleans Jazz Museum. The two-day New Orleans music industry, culture, and business conference will feature eight panels, along with local entrepreneurs participating in the Idea Village Metronome Pitch Day on Friday. NOLAxNOLA Talks is a NOLAxNoCover event and will also stream live on the New Orleans Jazz Museum’s YouTube channel. The conference is presented by Relix Magazine. NOLAxNoCover will return in 2026, offering free performances at participating venues throughout the festival. Last year, 100 NOLAxNoCover shows were presented during the 11-day celebration. NOLAxNoCover is powered by Stella Artois.
New for 2026: 106.7 The End Reunion
Knocked off the air during Hurricane Katrina in 2005, 106.7 The End was a nationally recognized modern rock alternative radio station with a strong reputation for developing and breaking artists. The station also had a unique and active bond with its audience hosting live broadcasts every night in the New Orleans metro area.
The staff hasn’t been in the same room in more than years. This changes on Saturday September 26th, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Howlin Wolf. This is becoming a wider reunion to include other radio and media people working in New Orleans pre-Katrina. The event will feature a NOLAxNoCover performance by Supagroup and Carmine P. Filthy.
The 2026 celebration will also mark the fifth anniversary of the Women of the New Orleans Music Industry Meet & Greet, a NOLAxNOLA tradition recognizing women who contribute to the city’s music industry. The date and location will be announced at a later time.
New for 2026: NOLAxNOLA Curated
NOLAxNOLA Curated will offer music fans a “golden ticket” experience featuring one designated performance each night of the 11-day celebration. The package includes access to all 11 selected shows and a dedicated concierge, a NOLAxNOLA shirt, poster and other perks offering visitors and locals a unique way to experience a cross-section of New Orleans’ live music scene. NOLAxNOLA Curated tickets are a $300 value for $175.

NOLAxNOLA began in 2021 to help New Orleans venues and musicians return to work in smaller, more intimate settings while large music festivals were postponed due to the pandemic. Since then, the event has grown into an annual celebration that provides a financial and marketing boost for the local music community. To date, NOLAxNOLA has distributed $1,058,700 to local venues, musicians, and cultural artists.
