NEW ORLEANS – Meril is marking a decade in New Orleans with a special one-night-only anniversary event on Sept. 30. Tickets are now on sale, giving guests the opportunity to join Chef Emeril Lagasse and the Meril team for an evening celebrating 10 years of food, fun and unforgettable memories.
The menu reflects Chef Emeril Lagasse’s love of travel and the food he loves to eat, blending flavors and inspirations from around the world with the spirit of New Orleans. A rotating selection of seasonal specials keeps things fresh, while a lively happy hour, weekend brunch and calendar of special events have helped make Meril a favorite place to “eat, drink and Be Meril” as the restaurant likes to say.
As Meril enters its next decade, the restaurant is also looking toward the future. Chef Keisha Septon has stepped into the role of Chef de Cuisine, taking the reins in the kitchen and bringing her own perspective to the restaurant’s evolving culinary program. Meril has also introduced a new weekend brunch menu, available Saturdays and Sundays, featuring favorites such as Bananas Foster French Toast and Chef Emeril’s BBQ Shrimp & Grits.
The Emeril Group is also expanding the Meril experience beyond New Orleans, with the recent opening of a second Meril location at M Resort Spa Casino in Las Vegas.

The 10th anniversary celebration will begin with a festive welcome reception featuring passed bites, specialty cocktails, music and more, setting the stage for an evening dedicated to the flavors, energy and spirit that have made Meril a New Orleans favorite.
Following the reception, guests will gather for a family-style dinner featuring Meril favorites, paired wines and the opportunity to celebrate alongside Chef Emeril Lagasse and the Meril team. Throughout the evening, guests can expect special surprises, flowing cocktails and plenty of reasons to raise a glass to 10 years of Meril.
