For three Cat-Tastic days in October the Museum is celebrating the power of imagination and exploration.
NEW ORLEANS – In collaboration with DreamWorks Animation and the Association of Children’s Museums, Louisiana Children’s Museum (LCM) is thrilled to announce that Gabby’s Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days is returning to the Museum for an extended three days this year. October 16, 17 and 18 Museum goers will have the opportunity to say “hello” to Gabby or snap the purr-fect photo during dedicated meet-and-greet sessions.
“We are so excited to welcome everyone’s favorite cat-loving adventurer back for three days of fun this year,” said Tifferney White, LCM CEO. “We’re celebrating the power of imagination and exploration as our 40th Anniversary year continues!”
Children and families are invited to participate by purchasing tickets to meet Gabby on October 16, 17 and 18. MEOWseum Discovery Days is a special ticketed event. Because of this, regular admission policies do not apply—all visitors, including museum members, must purchase advance tickets to attend. Tickets are $15.95 for members and $25.95 for nonmembers.

In addition, the Museum will have a line-up of activities to spread the Gabby magic leading up to the event. The following activities will be available:
- Scavenger Hunt: Beginning October 2, participate in a Gabby’s Scavenger Hunt that will unlock a fun sharable video moment.
- Paw-Some Dance Parties Leading up to Big Day: October 10 and 11 at 2 p.m. dance to fan-favorite Gabby songs to countdown the days until Gabby arrives.
- Meow-velous & Cuddleworthy Storytimes: October 10 at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., and October 11 at 1 p.m. enjoy a variety of Gabby titles during interactive storytimes.
