NEW ORLEANS – Library Foundation of New Orleans’s popular Really Big Used Book Sale will return to the Latter Library lawn on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year’s sale features the largest collection of books in the event’s history, with an expanded selection of vintage, rare, and boutique titles.
Shoppers will find thousands of gently used books across every genre, with most titles priced at just $3 or $4. A wide selection of children’s books is available for $2 each, making it easy for families to stock up on new favorites. For collectors and book lovers seeking something special, the sale’s rare books tent will offer vintage and boutique books curated by organization volunteers.
“This is one of our favorite fall traditions,” said Drew Brinkman, sales and outreach coordinator for the Library Foundation of New Orleans. “It’s always amazing how many of the donated books we receive are paired up with someone excited to find it. We really have something for everyone.”
All books for sale were donated by the community or retired from library collections. This sale gives them a second life with new readers while raising funds for New Orleans Public Library programs, resources, and services.
