NEW ORLEANS – In honor of Hunger Action Month and National Diaper Need Awareness Week (Sept. 14 – 20), LCMC Health partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank to collect food and Junior League of New Orleans to collect diapers at the hospitals and clinics to distribute to families and individuals in need. This is the first part of a larger initiative by the health system to support our community, called “Together for Good.”
LCMC Health system and hospital leadership and staff will be distributing pre-packed bags of food to families and individuals in need. Supplies are limited and will be given out on a first come, first served basis. Results of our food and diaper drive will be announced results of our food and diaper drive with the amounts of each collected and how many families this will be able to support.
