BATON ROUGE — Heavy civil and environmental construction company Forgen has opened a new office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, giving the company a permanent foothold in a market it has served for years and putting people, resources, and decision-making closer to clients and job sites across the Gulf Coast. The office, located at 8550 United Plaza Boulevard, Suite 310, opened September 21, 2026. It expands Forgen’s regional service capabilities in industrial site preparation, water infrastructure, specialty geotechnical work, and environmental remediation construction.

Leading the new office is Chris Normand, Vice President of Operations and Baton Rouge Office Leader. A Louisiana native with more than 25 years of industry experience and deep ties throughout the Gulf Coast region, Normand has spent decades building relationships in the market he now leads locally.
