NEW ORLEANS — City Park Conservancy (CPC) and Joel Catering announced the launch of the City Park Collection, bringing together four event venues within New Orleans City Park. Following a competitive Request for Proposals (RFP) process issued by CPC, Joel Catering was selected to serve as the exclusive partner for event sales, event management and catering across the collection. The partnership also includes a $1.7 million investment by Joel Catering in improvements to the four venues.
The City Park Collection includes the Pavilion of the Two Sisters, Arbor House (formerly Arbor Room) at Popp Fountain, Parkview Terrace, and the Garden Study & Lath House. Each venue offers a distinct setting within City Park for weddings, celebrations, corporate gatherings, community events and other special occasions.
“City Park is continually evaluating opportunities to enhance the experiences we provide while ensuring the long-term success and sustainability of our facilities and programs,” said Rebecca Dietz, president and CEO of CPC. “Joel Catering brings extensive hospitality and event expertise to some of City Park’s most beloved spaces along with meaningful investment in the venues themselves. Importantly, events held within the City Park Collection generate revenue that supports our work to operate, maintain, and improve City Park for our entire community.”
The investment will support enhancements across the City Park Collection building on the character and sense of place that have made these venues long-time destinations for gatherings in City Park. Improvements across the City Park Collection will be completed in phases from September through November. With extensive experience in full-service catering, hospitality, and event management across many of the city’s leading venues, Joel Catering will manage the client experience from initial inquiry and event planning through catering and event execution.

Revenue generated through these venues helps CPC operate, maintain and improve New Orleans City Park and support the recreational, cultural, natural and community experiences it provides to millions of visitors.
