COVINGTON – Canvas & Chords, hosted by TerraBella Village, will be held Saturday, Sept. 19. The event combines dozens of art vendors, live music, live art demonstrations, interactive elements, food, and open houses at participating businesses along TerraBella Boulevard. Similar to the white linen events held in New Orleans and Covington each summer, Canvas & Chords will be a colorful evening in support of local businesses and the Northshore arts community. A portion of the event’s proceeds will support the St. Tammany Art Association.
This year’s live music lineup includes Crispin Schroeder, 8 Track Acoustic, Addi Eversong and Mike Epstein. Featured food vendors include the Rusty Pelican Sippin Station, The Reminding, Flyin Pig Food Truck, El Mercado, Wild Tom and the High Man, BBQ Shrimp Guy, Semplice Pizza and Sweet Southern Sips.
The event is free and open to the public (no ticket required). Attendees are encouraged to wear their boldest and brightest at this colorful event. Art vendor applications are available by emailing events@terrabellavillage.com.
