Virgin Hotels and Brutus Bone Broth Serve Celebrate National Dog Month

NEW ORLEANS – August is National Dog Month, with National Dog Day on Aug. 26. To celebrate, Virgin Hotels is raising a glass to its favorite four-legged guests. In partnership with Brutus Bone Broth, Virgin Hotels is introducing a signature ‘puptail,’ a dog-friendly cocktail, at its Nashville, Dallas, New York City and New Orleans hotels throughout August.

Designed to give dogs their own treat to enjoy at the bar, the limited-time dog-friendly libation offers a playful take on cocktail culture, allowing guests to enjoy a drink while their furry companions sip alongside them. Each ‘puptail’ is served with your choice of vegetable, chicken, or beef broth garnished with whipped cream and Brutus Broth biscuit.

The Virgin Hotels team said the partnership further enhances the hotel’s VIP(ets) program, created to ensure every four-legged guest receives the same warm, thoughtful welcome as their humans do.

From arrival to checkout, VIP(ets) amenities include:

  • No pet fees
  • No size or breed restrictions
  • Cozy, in-room pet amenities, including bowls, a bed and treats
  • Access to pet-friendly programming throughout the year
  • A dedicated pet menu at the hotel’s signature restaurant
  • A warm welcome for every four-legged traveler

“Pets are part of the family, and at Virgin Hotels, we believe they deserve the same elevated experience as our human guests,” said Claire Hilton, chief marketing officer for Virgin Hotels Collection. “With V.I.P(ets) STAY, we’re celebrating our four-legged friends and creating a welcoming environment for travelers and their pets—whether they’re big, small, or somewhere in between.”
