Louisiana Children’s Museum Celebrates 40 Years with “Party Like It’s 1986” Birthday Bash

Step back in time to celebrate four decades of play, imagination and learning!

NEW ORLEANS – Celebrate the Louisiana Children’s Museum (LCM) turning 40 at an epic, 80s-inspired birthday bash honoring the Museum’s past while creating unforgettable memories for the future. This event, sponsored by the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans, will take place at LCM Sept. 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.

“For 40 years, the Louisiana Children’s Museum has been the heartbeat of learning through play in our community, helping turn children’s natural curiosity into lifelong confidence and realized potential,” said Tifferney White, LCM CEO. “As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we are thrilled to invite families to a free community birthday party at our beautiful City Park campus—made possible through the generosity of the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans. LCM is a place where every child has room to grow, connect, and thrive, and we can’t wait to commemorate four decades of learning together and the fun and impact that are yet to come.”
