NEW ORLEANS — Teams from within the nearly 1,000-member Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans (HBAGNO) will prepare and enter a variety of dishes for awards and bragging rights at this fun, family-friendly event.
Ticketed guests will be able to sample everything from family recipes to NOLA favorites, while enjoying unlimited beer/wine/sodas, a DJ, a Strong-Arm competition, and an exciting live auction, all in air-conditioned comfort. Also, a professional face painter and balloon artist will entertain the kids.
Competing Teams: Build-A-Way, Dave Millet Insurance Agency, Dufrene Building Materials, Helm Paint, LHBA, Luxury Stone Slabs, LVP Warehouse, M&M Glass Company, NOMAR, Katner Law Firm, 84 Lumber.
This year’s celebrity Chef Judges include Stephen McGill | Southern and Cajun Pots on the Spot; Chef Marlon “Chicken” Williams | Chicken’s Kitchen; Nathanial Zimet | Boucherie and Bourrée.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the PWB (Professional Women in Building) Fund. PWB is the voice of women in the building industry, dedicated to promoting industry professionalism and supporting members at the local, state, and national levels.
