City of New Orleans Announces Search for Golf Course Superintendent at Joseph M. Bartholomew, Sr. Municipal Golf Course

NEW ORLEANS — The City of New Orleans is seeking an experienced and motivated Golf Course Superintendent to lead operations at the Joseph M. Bartholomew, Sr. Municipal Golf Course.

This leadership position will oversee golf course operations, turf and grounds maintenance, staff, and business functions, with a focus on maintaining exceptional playing conditions while delivering a welcoming and high-quality experience for golfers and the community.

The Golf Course Superintendent will be responsible for providing strategic leadership across the facility, managing day-to-day operations, supervising staff, overseeing course maintenance and irrigation, and supporting the continued improvement of the golf course and its services.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Supervisory experience in golf course management or related operations
  • Knowledge of turf management and irrigation systems
  • Experience leading staff and managing day-to-day operations
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining high-quality playing conditions
