Second Annual New Orleans Health and Yoga Festival Returns

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Health & Yoga Festival returns for its second annual celebration Sept. 3–6, bringing four days of yoga, music, wellness, education and community programming to Hotel Peter & Paul in the heart of the Faubourg Marigny.

Hosted by the New Orleans Health & Yoga Festival Board and founded by Mark Berger, the festival celebrates the growing wellness movement in New Orleans through a uniquely local lens — blending movement, music, mindfulness and culture into an immersive community experience.

“New Orleans is known around the world for celebration, creativity and soul,” said Berger. “This festival was created to honor that same spirit through movement, conscious living, music and community connection. We want people to experience wellness in a way that still feels deeply rooted in New Orleans.”

The festival will feature local and nationally recognized teachers, musicians, artists, and wellness practitioners offering experiences for all levels — from complete beginners to longtime practitioners.

Festival experiences include:

  • Yoga, dance, and movement classes
  • Live music, DJs, and immersive sound healing experiences
  • Meditation and wellness therapies
  • Community discussions on mindfulness, Ayurveda, yoga philosophy, and holistic health
  • A curated marketplace featuring local artists, wellness brands, and conscious businesses
  • Educational workshops and experiences for all levels of practice

More than just a yoga festival, NOHYF is designed as a space for connection — where guests can move, learn, celebrate and experience the intersection of wellness and New Orleans culture.
