Renaissance New Orleans Arts Warehouse Hotel and Meril Team Up to Bring More Local Eats Poolside

Hotel & Daypass Guests Can Enjoy Meril Classics & Brunch Poolside on Weekends.

NEW ORLEANS In addition to an existing partnership with St. James Cheese Company, the Renaissance New Orleans Arts Warehouse District Hotel is launching a new, poolside food partnership with Chef Emeril Lagasse’s casual dining spot, Meril. Rooftop pool guests can order from Meril’s menu on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6 – 9 pm and on Sundays from 10 am – 8 pm. Hours may vary.

A QR code is displayed on the pool deck to scan and access available menus, order and pay for food directly from a mobile device, and receive complimentary delivery poolside. Meril menu items include various flatbreads, burgers, tacos, salads, and items from the new brunch menu from 10 am – 2 pm on Sundays. Orders must be placed poolside, but to preview the menus, click here.

“The concept of Meril was inspired by Chef Emeril’s travels and global flavors so it’s only fitting to work with a travel partner to bring these dishes and our local flair to hotel guests,” said Margo Robert, general manager of Meril. “We’re thrilled that tourists and locals alike can now experience Meril in this new and exciting way.”

The Renaissance Arts rooftop pool is an included amenity for hotel guests. For those not staying at the hotel, day passes, cabana, and daybed passes can be purchased from ResortPass starting at $25 for adults.

“Our hope with partnerships like St. James and Meril is to bring an elevated experience to our guests poolside,” said Donald Payne, general manager of the Renaissance Arts Hotel. “The Renaissance brand has a mission to help guests discover the heart of each neighborhood where we’re located and making these local menus accessible poolside helps us to achieve that.”

Throughout the Summer, there will be a poolside pop-up bar on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 am – 7 pm and Sundays 9 am – 5 pm. Hours may vary due to weather. Beverages like seltzers, local beers, and soft drinks can also be purchased at the front desk upon check-in. Guests can also pick up food, cocktails, and coffee to go from Legacy Kitchen’s Craft Tavern and New Orleans Coffee & Beignet Co. located in the hotel lobby.

In addition to this new foodie partnership, various walking tours, a tasting at Seven Three Distilling Co. and other local adventures are included in a hotel stay at Renaissance Arts. There are also several limited-time offers through the Summer and the remainer of the year to save on stays. For a list of offers, click here.

“We are always working to elevate the experience for hotel and pool pass guests and are excited to welcome guests for some added experiences this Summer,” said Payne. “The Renaissance Arts is a great spot for all types of travelers to relax and cool-off in-between exploring our amazing city.”
