NEW ORLEANS – Beginning Wednesday, July 8, Le Pavillon New Orleans is introducing a weekly happy hour at its historic lobby cocktail Bar 1803, inspired by New Orleans’ Prohibition-era past.
Each Wednesday from 4 – 6 p.m., the bar will serve discounted bar bites incorporating Louisiana ingredients, refreshing hand-crafted cocktails, house wines by the glass and craft beer selections. Inspired by the hotel’s location and storied past, cocktails include:
- Le Diable Rouge, a classic with blanco tequila crème de cassis, fresh lime juice, and ginger lift
- The Baronne Street Gilded Rum, a tropical vintage concoction combining light rum, pineapple juice, maraschino liqueur, and grenadine
Visitors and locals alike can also savor bites such as:
Debris Gravy and Fontina Flatbread, a savory, crispy flatbread layered slow-braised traditional Louisiana roast beef debris, rich pan-gravy reduction, melted fontina, and crisp green onions
Crisp Boudin Boulettes, featuring fried panko-covered premium Louisiana boudin sausage spheres served over a vibrant Creole mustard aioli
