NEW ORLEANS – Following a successful kickoff celebration at Compère Lapin on July 27, Ladies Night NOLA is continuing its summer series with a full lineup of collaborative events throughout August and September, bringing together some of New Orleans’ most beloved female-led hospitality businesses for evenings of cocktails, bites, music, and community.
Created by Chef Nina Compton of Compère Lapin, Ladies Night NOLA was designed to support local businesses, introduce guests to new destinations, and celebrate the women helping shape the city’s vibrant hospitality scene. The series officially launched at Compère Lapin with a collaboration featuring Queen Trini Lisa, where guests enjoyed Caribbean-inspired bites, specialty cocktails, and an evening celebrating women in hospitality.
Now, the series continues every Wednesday with each participating venue putting its own spin on Ladies Night through curated food and beverage offerings, live entertainment, collaborations and unique experiences.
August Events
Wednesday, Aug. 5 | Vyoone’s | 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Vyoone’s will host a two-hour Happy Hour featuring Classic French 75s, Rosé Spritzes, and Sparkling Peach Martinis. Guests can also enjoy a sampler of the restaurant’s award-winning appetizers, including mini crawfish beignets, French onion shooters, and escargot toast, alongside live jazz from a trio. Tickets are available for $40 and can be purchased here.
Wednesday, Aug. 12 | Ayu Bakehouse x Mister Mao | 5:30 – 8 p.m.
Ayu Bakehouse and Mister Mao team up for an evening featuring French Truck Espresso Martinis made with Cathead Vodka along with Hurricane Snacks and Rockabye Karaoke.
Wednesday, Aug. 19 | Rosedale x Porgy’s | 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Rosedale and Porgy’s present a collaborative evening featuring a mini market with local vendors, live music, wines curated by Sommelier Michelle Gueydan, and a whole-fish butchery demonstration by Porgy’s Caitlyn Carnay, followed by fresh crudo. Rosedale will also serve light appetizers, including ceviche with house-made guacamole, taramasalata, and a warm seasonal offering. Tickets are $40 per person.
Wednesday, Aug. 26 | Dolfy’s | 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
The month concludes at Dolfy’s with “Pintxos & Pitchers,” where guests can enjoy a selection of three Basque-inspired pintxos from Chef Adolfo Garcia Jr, paired with pitchers of refreshing summer cocktails for $45. Live entertainment will also be announced.
Events are open to the public, with reservations encouraged where applicable. Ladies Night NOLA continues through the end of September, inviting locals and visitors alike to discover new favorite destinations while supporting the women behind New Orleans’ dynamic hospitality community.
