HAMMOND – North Oaks Health is excited to welcome neurologist Taylor Fradella-Doucet, MD, to the North Oaks Neurology Clinic in Hammond. She is currently accepting new patients.
Dr. Fradella-Doucet diagnoses and treats a wide variety of conditions that affect the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. This includes stroke, seizures, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease, among other conditions. Focused on treating headache disorders, she helps patients better manage symptoms and achieve lasting relief.
“Headache disorders are debilitating and affect up to 40% of the population,” she shares. “I feel like I can make the biggest impact on someone’s life if I can get their headaches under control.”
Dr. Fradella-Doucet’s patient care philosophy is informed by her own healthcare journey, and she approaches each patient with empathy and an open mind.
“As someone who had a very serious, rare illness requiring lots of time in the hospital and visits with various specialists, I have a unique understanding of what some of my patients are going through,” she explains. “I keep my differentials broad to avoid overlooking the rarer diseases, and I hope to be able to support my patients through their health journeys as my care team did for me.”
Dr. Fradella-Doucet earned her undergraduate degree in biological engineering from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and her medical degree from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC)– School of Medicine in New Orleans. She also completed her Adult Neurology Residency at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
Professionally, she is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Society of Women Engineers.

North Oaks Neurology Clinic is located at 15795 Paul Vega, MD, Drive, Building 3, Suite 204 in Hammond. Clinic hours of operation are 8 am to 5 pm on weekdays.
