THIBODAUX – Nicholls State University named 2,325 students to honors lists for the spring 2026 semester.
This highlights a consistent trend at Nicholls, where academic resources, faculty mentorship and student dedication come together to help students excel in their fields.
“Seeing over 2,300 students reach these academic benchmarks is a reflection of the dedication our students bring to the classroom every day,” said Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Todd Keller. “It also speaks to the supportive environment our faculty and staff work hard to build here at Nicholls, ensuring every student has the tools they need to reach their potential.”
To achieve these distinctions, full-time undergraduate students met grade point average benchmarks while balancing coursework, campus involvement and/or employment. The university recognizes these students across three categories based on their performance each semester.
The President’s List is for students who maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. The Dean’s List is those who earned a grade point average between 3.2 and 3.499. The Honor Roll is for those who earned a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.199.
The president’s, dean’s and honor roll lists can be found here.
