NEW ORLEANS – As part of the 2026 New Orleans Wine & Food Experience (NOWFE), Tujague’s – celebrating its 170th Anniversary in 2026 – will host a very special interactive seminar, “The Grasshopper at 170: What Makes a Cocktail Historic.” Invented in 1918 by Philip Guichet of Tujague’s, the mint-colored Grasshopper has become a New Orleans cocktail icon and has been served at Tujague’s using the original method for over a century. Join Beverage Director Allison O’Keefe for a historical exploration, cocktail-making demonstration, and tasting of this classic cocktail.
