NEW ORLEANS – On Saturday, June 13, at 7 p.m., NOPSI’s rooftop bar and pool, Above the Grid, will host “Sing It Loud, Sing It Proud,” a Pride-themed evening featuring DJ Liz Ellis, a beloved figure in New Orleans’ LGBTQ community and co-owner of Fringe & Co.
The celebration will feature a limited-time cocktail menu inspired by iconic songs and artists that have soundtracked Pride celebrations for generations, including Whitney Houston, Madonna, ABBA, Alanis Morissette, Celine Dion, and Chappell Roan. Featured drinks include “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” “Dancing Queen,” “Pink Pony Club,” and “Like a Prayer,” all priced at $10.
The event is free to attend, with pool access available through a $20 DayPass before 7 p.m., offering locals and visitors a welcoming spot to gather, celebrate, and enjoy rooftop views in the heart of downtown during Pride Month.
