NEW ORLEANS – Gris-Gris’ Executive Chef/Owner Eric Cook announced he is taking things back to where it all began with the re-launch of the restaurant’s original 2018 menu (with 2018 prices!) for the month of July.
The “OG” Menu will launch next Thursday, July 2, and run all day (11 a.m. – close), featuring original customer favorites at old school, discounted prices including the Oyster Salad ($14), Shrimp and Fried Green Tomatoes ($12), Pork Belly and Watermelon ($9), Chicken Gizzard Grillades ($9), My Mom’s Chicken and Dumplings ($14), Seafood Stuffed Crab ($28) and more.
The restaurant will also feature weekly rotating specials from the OG menu:
- Week 1 (July 2 – 6)-: Creole Redfish Court Bouillon ($28)
- Week 2 (July 9 – 13): Sugarcane Seared Duck Breast ($22)
- Week 3 (July 16 – 20) : 14 oz. House Cut Ribeye ($28)
- Week 4 (July 23 – 27) : Surprise
In addition, Gris-Gris will also offer no fees or $$ minimums for private dining groups in The Samedi Room throughout July. The intimate, two-story space, which seats up to 12 guests, offers skyline views overlooking both Magazine Street and the riverfront with Creole warmth and an experience unlike any other.
