NEW ORLEANS – Pool season has arrived at Virgin Hotels New Orleans. Located on the rooftop of the hotel, The Pool Club is features refreshing cocktails, delicious bites and endless skyline views. Guests or locals looking to elevate their day in the sun can reserve VIP seating or purchase day passes for dedicated pool access throughout the day, while Louisiana residents can enjoy $10 pool passes every Monday all summer long.
Adding to the rooftop energy this season is Club Soleil, taking place every Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. Organizers say the weekly series transforms the rooftop into a sun-soaked escape with rotating DJs spinning feel-good house, R&B, and laid-back daytime beats alongside cool cocktails, breezy vibes, and unbeatable city views. Entry is complimentary with RSVP, while guests looking to take a dip can purchase a day pass in advance. May’s lineup includes DJ Sana, DJ SiiSko, DJ Chore Boys, and a special edition of Adult Swimming featuring ET Deaux on May 31.
For the perfect post-work wind down, guests can also head to the rooftop Monday through Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. for Off The Clock, an easy transition from workday to evening. The after-hours experience features great music and specials including $9 classic cocktails, $8 house wine, $9 beer-and-shot duos, $4 zero-proof options and $12 rotating frozen cocktails.
Guests looking to recharge and reset can also experience Yoga75, a limited-edition wellness series at Virgin Hotels New Orleans taking place on May 31 and June 14 & 28. Led by wellness facilitator and 200 RYT yoga instructor Amber Mortensen of Wellness Unbounded and Yoga75™, the beginner-friendly experience features a 60-minute guided yoga flow focused on movement, breath, and balance in a thoughtfully curated indoor setting. Following class, guests can enjoy a French 75 or refreshing mocktail alongside light breakfast bites including seasonal fruit, yogurt parfaits with granola, and infused hydration. Limited dates are available, with tickets starting at $39. Guests are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat.
While rooftops may steal the summer spotlight, Commons Club is not to be overlooked. Located on the ground floor of the hotel, the lively restaurant and bar offers the perfect escape from the summer heat with creative cocktails, vibrant energy, live entertainment, and elevated dining experiences all season long.Throughout the week, guests and locals can settle in for live music and elevated evenings, including Live with Leaux Fye Tribe every Wednesday from 6–8 p.m., bringing neo-soul, R&B, and funk-inspired grooves to the space alongside 25% off bottles of wine, and The Friday Setfeaturing local artists and musicians every Friday from 7–9 p.m., where smooth vocals and strong pours set the tone for an easygoing night out.
