NEW ORLEANS – Team Milk announced the official course for the 2027 Every Woman’s Marathon, offering an early look at the 26.2-mile route for the only US marathon designed by women for women. The race is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 28, 2027.
Built around women’s needs and goals, organizers share Every Woman’s Marathon reimagines the traditional experience with enhanced on-course amenities, a celebratory weekend experience, and chocolate milk for recovery. Milk has long been recognized as the original performance beverage, supporting athletes of all levels with high-quality protein, hydration, and essential nutrients.
The point-to-point course begins at Champions Square and finishes in City Park, taking runners through iconic New Orleans landmarks and neighborhoods, Jackson Square, Tremé Neighborhood, Creole Mansions, St. Louis Cemetery No. 3 and scenic stretches along Lake Pontchartrain.
Taking place in late February, the event gives runners the chance to experience New Orleans just after Mardi Gras, creating a winter race weekend that brings together the city’s spirit, scenery and hospitality. The course will also serve as a Boston Marathon qualifier.
