National construction firm returns to industry’s definitive ranking on the strength of $253 million in 2025 revenue
METAIRIE — RNGD, a national construction services firm headquartered in Metairie, has been named to Engineering News-Record’s 2026 Top 400 General Contractors list, ranking #394 on the strength of $253 million in 2025 revenue.
The ENR Top 400 is the construction industry’s definitive annual ranking of the most active general contractors in the United States. The 2026 list represents firms that collectively generated $671.4 billion in construction revenue last year, with the top 10 firms alone capturing 23.3% of total Top 400 revenue — underscoring how competitive it has become to earn a published ranking.
RNGD’s 2026 placement marks a return to the list after holding the #383 position in 2024. The firm now sits in the same published peer set as LEMOINE, Performance Contractors, Turner Industries, APTIM, Cajun Industries, W.M. Lyles, MEB, and Calhoun.
“We don’t build for rankings — we build to outwork, outthink, and outlast,” said Wes Palmisano, Founder and CEO of RNGD. “Earning a spot on the ENR Top 400 means the industry is catching up to what our people have been doing for years. I’m proud of where we landed. I’m more interested in where we’re headed.”
The ranking reflects a year of significant project delivery across RNGD’s three operating divisions — Building, Infrastructure, and Steel — and across its markets in Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama. Notable 2025 completions include the Lewter District Class A Office in downtown Huntsville, Mid-City Lofts in Lake Charles, the West Tunnel Lofts in Houma, the Globalplex Access Bridge in St. Charles Parish, the historic Ernest Tubb Record Shop restoration on Nashville’s Lower Broadway, and the company’s new $25 million, 14-acre headquarters in Metairie, Louisiana.
The ENR ranking is the latest in a series of recognitions for the firm, which has also been named a 2025 USA TODAY Top Workplace, a 2025 Procore Building for Tomorrow Groundbreaker, and #93 on ENR’s 2025 Texas and Southeast Top Contractors List.
“This credential opens doors with owners and helps us recruit the next wave of Renegades who want to build something bigger than themselves,” Palmisano added. “We’ve never been the biggest firm on the list. The point is the work, the people, and the standard we set every single day.”
