NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation returns with the a weekend celebration of Southwestern Louisiana musical traditions with the 2026 Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival on Saturday, May 30th, and Sunday, May 31, from 3 to 8:30 p.m. each day at the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center (1225 N. Rampart St.). Musical performances by local and regional artists, including Nathan & the Zydeco Cha Chas, Chubby Carrier & The Bayou Swamp Band, Geno Delafose & French Rockin’ Boogie, Donna Angelle & the Zydeco Posse, and more, will highlight Louisiana’s cherished indigenous sounds from Cajun-French ballads to Creole Zydeco’s rhythmic washboards and everything in between.

Doors open at 2 p.m. with live music beginning at 3 p.m. each day. Savory bites by Cochon King BBQ and cold treats by Valerie’s Snoballs will be available for purchase on site.
