NEW ORLEANS – BRG Hospitality announced its participation in the 2026 New Orleans Wine & Food Experience (NOWFE) with two culinary events on Wednesday, June 10. Taking place at Michelin-recognized Restaurant August and Delacroix, organizers share the experiences will highlight world-class wines, innovative cuisine and the talents of the group’s celebrated chefs.
At Restaurant August, guests are invited to an exclusive, multi-course tasting experience, featuring wines from the legendary Italian producer GAJA. Priced at $450 per person, this intimate dinner will take place from 6–10 p.m. and will include a bespoke menu crafted by Restaurant August Executive Chef Corey Thomas. Chef Thomas drew inspiration for the menu from the Italian wine pairings and his time spent in Italy, where he married wife Brigette, and his tenure at BRG Hospitality’s Domenica.
Each course will be thoughtfully paired with selections from GAJA’s esteemed portfolio, including Idda, Etna Bianco (Sicily); Ca’Marcanda “Vistamare” (Tuscany); Pieve Santa Restituta Brunello di Montalcino; GAJA “Sori Tildin” Barbaresco and GAJA “Sperss” Grappa.
“This is an opportunity to create a personal and expressive menu that highlights the nuance and elegance of GAJA wines,” said Restaurant August Executive Chef Corey Thomas. “Each course is designed to complement and elevate these iconic vintages, offering guests a truly immersive dining experience. We’re staying true to the fine dining our guests have come to expect, but we’re having fun with our menu and pairing fresh, local ingredients with these iconic wines.”
Simultaneously, Delacroix will host a lively, reception-style event in partnership with Moët Hennessy, priced at $195 per person. Also running from 6–10 p.m., the experience will embrace a “summer in the south of France” theme, complete with chef-attended stations, live music, and a curated selection of rosé wines.
Guests will enjoy a dynamic lineup of food and wine pairings, including shrimp toast bites with Whispering Angel sangria, a raw bar featuring oysters with watermelon and basil, seafood paella, duck and chanterelle pasta, and more. The evening will also feature Veuve Clicquot Rosé Champagne served over ice, interactive cocktail stations and a festive riverside atmosphere.
Chef Wiley Lewis will lead the culinary experience at Delacroix, bringing a vibrant and playful approach to the evening’s offerings.
“We wanted to create an event that feels celebratory and full of energy for one of NOWFE’s reception-style events,” said Delacroix Chef Wiley Lewis. “From the rosé selections to the interactive food stations, it’s all about capturing that effortless summer feeling and giving guests a night to remember on the riverfront. We’ve worked hard to develop creative pairings fit to be enjoyed in a vibrant setting along the river.”
Through these two distinct events, BRG Hospitality continues its tradition of excellence within the New Orleans culinary scene, offering both an elevated fine-dining experience and a spirited social gathering as part of NOWFE’s diverse programming.
Tickets for both events are available through the New Orleans Wine & Food Experience website at www.nowfe.com.
