WHAT TO EXPECT:
Behind the scenes, crews are working daily to prepare the waterpark for its highly anticipated opening. Extensive efforts are underway, including ride maintenance, repairs and fresh landscaping, all designed to enhance the overall guest experience. Blue Bayou is focused on revitalizing and maintaining everything currently onsite:
- Working with multiple teams of maintenance crews, welders and fiberglass specialists to bring all pools, waterslides and attractions up to our safety standards.
- Continuing extensive grounds work and refurbishing the buildings throughout the waterpark.
- Bringing in new smart lockers, which can be accessed by a personalized passcode or by facial ID, rather than a key.
- Upgrading kitchen equipment, fully restocking the first aid room and lifeguard supplies
- Installing internet into the waterpark for the first time in order to streamline admissions and food sales processes so the waterpark can offer convenient and fast transactions for guests.
- Parking will be free for season pass holders.
- Offering free inner tubes and lifejackets to all guests.
