New Orleans Women and Children’s Shelter Welcomes New Board Members

NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Women & Children’s Shelter announces the election of its Board of Directors. Todd Ragusa, principal at Ragusa Consulting, and Marseah “Marcy” Delatte, managing member of New Orleans Restoration Properties, join the nonprofit’s board as new members and 11 directors were re-elected.

“In 2025, the New Orleans Women & Children’s Shelter celebrated its biggest year ever. We moved into our brand-new Mid-City home, served as the Saints official Kicks for Kids partner (sponsored by Keesler Financial Credit Union), doubled our sheltering capacity, increased program outreach and were the recipients of over $2 million in grants and funding,” said Dawn Bradley-Fletcher, the nonprofit’s Executive Director. “At this pivotal moment of our growth, I am honored to work with a dedicated Board of Directors, each of whom is dedicated to advancing the mission of NOWCS and setting the standard of success for homelessness recovery in New Orleans.”
