NEW ORLEANS – Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots is hosting a special Clash of the Colleges Twilight Races Presented by Pepsi event on Saturday, March 14, beginning at 3 p.m.
The venue invites students, teachers, alumni, race fans and fun seekers to get into the spirit for an evening of excitement at the track.
The festivities begin with a series of ten (10) thoroughbred races run on the historic track, starting at 3 p.m.
The Bräts will perform from 4-7 p.m. near the Beer Garden, delivering their signature high-energy party polka alongside refreshing local brews.
Then Where Y’acht will keep the party going into the night yacht rock-style in the 4th floor Clubhouse from 8-11 p.m.
Grandstand General Admission Tickets are $20 and Grandstand Clubhouse Tickets are $30, plus applicable taxes and fees. Grandstand and Clubhouse boxes are also available. Tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster or at the door until sold out.
The event is open to all ages. Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Must be 18 or older to bet on the races. Must be 21 or older to enter the slots or OTB areas.
