NEW ORLEANS — In response to heightened security measures, the City of New Orleans will once again enforce a Clear Bag Policy to ensure the safety of all attendees at Gallier Hall, effective Feb. 11 through Feb. 17.
Only clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags measuring no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ will be permitted at designated venues. Additionally, small clutch bags no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″ will be allowed. Clear backpacks and fanny packs will be permitted under this policy.
The City of New Orleans remains committed to prioritizing public safety while maintaining an enjoyable experience for all. Attendees are encouraged to plan accordingly and adhere to these guidelines to expedite security screenings.
This applies to all parade viewing at Gallier Hall.
Guests will also pass through a metal detector for entry.
