To meet growing demand as New Orleans experiences unprecedented growth in warehousing, distribution and transportation infrastructure at its port, STRIVE New Orleans, a leading workforce development solution, has launched a unique, new regional logistics and warehousing training program.
Students graduating from the program are prepared for high-demand roles in in inventory control, workforce safety, material handling and forklift operations. This program is the only one in the area to offer:
- OSHA 10 General Industry Safety Training
- Forklift Certification
- Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) Inventory Control Certification through MSSC
Now approaching its one-year anniversary in New Orleans this fall, STRIVE New Orleans helps residents, including those impacted by the Justice System, get on a career path with opportunities for mobility and economic prosperity, and matches them with employers looking to fill gaps in their workforce.
