Louisiana Children’s Museum Hosts Fourth of July Family Day

NEW ORLEANS – The Louisiana Children’s Museum is offering families a fun field day to celebrate Independence Day.

From 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., families can experience both indoor and outdoor activities ranging from beach ball volleyball to fingerpainting.

Full events include:

Outdoors: It’s Field Day & Water Play

Enjoy Beach Ball Volleyball on the lawn: They’ll provide the beach balls and nets, perfect for kids of all ages. Then, cool off with water fun.

Splish Splash for toddlers at 10 a.m.

Sprinklers & Splash Pads for all ages from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Inside!

Red, White, and Blue Fingerpainting from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Tactile fun for toddlers in the Play With Me Gallery.

Modern American Pop Art Collage Workshop from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Get creative with acclaimed artist Michael Albert at the Studio in the Park.

Summer Fruit Fun from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Join experiments, a scavenger hunt, and build your own fruit salad station.

Wiggle Party at 2 p.m.: Dance and celebrate!

Food Science Friday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
