Emeril’s Restaurant Chosen Among World’s Best Restaurants for Wine

NEW ORLEANS –  Emeril’s restaurant has shared it has been honored for its outstanding wine program in Wine Spectator’s 2025 Restaurant Awards, which celebrate the world’s best restaurants for wine.

Emeril’s has won the Grand Award for the 26th year, which is the program’s highest honor. Emeril’s first earned the coveted award in 1999.  This elite group comprises the world’s best wine programs, which deliver serious breadth of top producers, outstanding depth in mature vintages, a selection of large-format bottles, excellent harmony with the menu and superior presentation.

“A wine list is a restaurant’s identity in print, and this year’s Wine Spectator Restaurant Award winners reflect both deep knowledge and a passion for discovery,” said Marvin R. Shanken, editor and publisher of Wine Spectator. “I proudly present the 3,811 restaurants worldwide that earned a Restaurant Award this year—we raise a glass to all our winners.”

“We are honored to receive a 2025 Wine Spectator Grand Award, a recognition we’ve proudly held since 1999,” says E.J. Lagasse, chef and co-owner of Emeril’s.  “This distinction would not be possible without the dedication and knowledge of our team throughout the restaurant’s 35 year history.  My team and I are humbled and honored to take that torch forward and look forward to many more years of curating and maintaining one of the world’s top wine lists.”

Launched in 1981, the Restaurant Awards represent the world’s only program focused exclusively on restaurant wine service. They are assigned on three levels: the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence and the Grand Award, with 2,010; 1,704; and 97 winners this year in each respective category.

Wine Spectator’s special Restaurant Awards issue becomes available to readers July 15.
