NEW ORLEANS — On Thursday, June 5, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, the iconic International House will host Taste the World: Thailand — a cultural and culinary celebration blending the bold flavors of Bangkok with the soulful spirit of New Orleans. Presented in collaboration with Loa, the event features internationally acclaimed bartender Marco Dongi of Bangkok’s Bar Sathorn, alongside Loa’s Abigail Gullo, one of the city’s most beloved mixologists and a 2025 James Beard Semifinalist. Guests will also enjoy Thai-inspired bites by Chef Aom Srisuk of Good Catch Thai Urban Bistro, a Thai standout in New Orleans’ vibrant culinary scene. To mark this international celebration, both the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Honorary Consul of Italy will be in attendance to welcome Marco Dongi to New Orleans and highlight the global spirit of hospitality and connection.

- Bangkok Brunch: Featuring Creole tomato “ice cubes” and Thai basil pork bacon, this drink pays homage to New Orleans’ rich agricultural heritage and Thailand’s bold street food flavors.
- Oh Liang Punch: A clarified milk punch made with pandan, Thai jasmine tea, New Orleans coffee, and Caribbean rum.
- Boulevardier: A timeless blend of Rye, Campari, and sweet vermouth, reimagined through the lens of Milanese sophistication.
- Belucci: A citrus-forward tribute to Sicily, crafted with Aperol, Cognac, Limoncello, and lime.
