Historic New Orleans Collection Hosts Free Twilight Event Featuring Vietnamese Culture

NEW ORLEANS – Historic New Orleans Collection (HNOC) invites guests to experience afterhours during their quarterly event,  Ce Soir: Twilight at the Museum. As a special addition to celebrate the opening of HNOC’s newest exhibition, “Making It Home: From Vietnam to New Orleans,” visitors can experience live music by Jessica Hong, a book signing with chef Nini Nguyen, a cooking demo with Dough Nguyener’s and gallery discussions which tell the story of Vietnamese migration to New Orleans. Admission is free and open to public; no registration is required.

Other exhibitions open: Edge of Tomorrow: Aerial Views of Louisiana’s Changing Coastline by Ben Depp, A Vanishing Bounty: Louisiana’s Coastal Environment and Culture, French Quarter Life: People and Places in the Vieux Carré, and French Quarter Galleries
