Boys Town Louisiana Welcomes Michael Chauvin and Kelsey Bonnaffons to Their Board

NEW ORLEANS – Boys Town Louisiana proudly announces the appointment of Michael Chauvin and Kelsey Bonnaffons to its board of directors. Their combined expertise and passion for community engagement will play a pivotal role in furthering Boys Town Louisiana’s mission to save children and heal families across the region.

Michael Chauvin currently serves as the Vice President of Sales at NOLA.com/ Times- Picayune, where he leads all print and digital revenue streams. Since April 2021, he has overseen a dynamic sales team and implemented strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth. His career includes leadership roles such as Director of Advertising at The Post and Courier/Evening Post Industries and Publisher/Director of Advertising at Summerville Communications, Inc. His broad expertise in digital, print and event marketing has consistently resulted in increased market share and revenue growth.

Beyond his professional achievements, Chauvin has been actively involved in community service, holding board positions and leadership roles in organizations such as the Greater Summerville Dorchester Chamber of Commerce, Summerville Family YMCA, and the Charleston Home Builders Association. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Montreat College and an associate degree in applied science in Information Systems and Networking Technology from Southwestern Community College.

Joining Chauvin is Kelsey Bonnaffons, an accomplished attorney at Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith in New Orleans. As a native of the city, Bonnaffons brings not only legal expertise but also a deep understanding of the community’s needs. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from The University of Florida before returning home to attend Tulane University School of Law.

Bonnaffons is deeply committed to community service, particularly through her work with Take Paws Rescue and Galloway’s Hogs for the Cause, a charity that raises money to support families of children with pediatric brain cancer. Her passion for giving back aligns perfectly with Boys Town Louisiana’s mission to invest in the well-being and future of local youth.
