NEW ORLEANS – The Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans (HBAGNO) recently introduced its 2025 Senior Officers, Board of Directors, and Council Representatives at its annual Installation & Awards Reception. The 2025 officers, board of directors, council representatives, and awards were announced by Dan Mills, CEO of the HBAGNO.
Newly elected 2025 President Gerald Mire is the CAO of Hyman L. Bartolo Contractors, Inc., an 11-year partner of the St. Jude Dream Home® -New Orleans. Jim Barkate, Emeritus Member of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Board of Directors, performed the official installation.

HBAGNO achieves its annual goals with support from governmental administrators from across the seven-parish area it serves. The following individuals were recognized with Special Service Awards at the Installation & Awards Reception for their demonstrated commitment to the community while upholding the highest ethical standards. They are:
Bryan Adams, State Fire Marshal; Leonard Feller, City of New Orleans; Nolty Kiff, Jefferson Parish; Tyler Ochello, Jefferson Parish; Brad Hassert, Louisia State Licensing Board of Contractors; Jackie Dadakis, Louisiana State Uniform Construction Code Council. Not pictured: Lauren Stone, St. Bernard Parish Government and Corey Faucheux, St. Charles Parish.
Awards were also given in the following categories: Builder of the Year – Frank Morse/Morse Homes, Inc.; Associate of the Year – NAME/Company; Remodeler of the Year – Kevin Katner; Council of the Year – Sales & Marketing; Staff Member of the Year – Ashlyn Charbonnet; Most Engaged Member – Tanya Dillard; Special Award for Day of Design – Valerie Hart; and Outstanding Service Award – Peter Lanaux.
