NEW ORLEANS – Greater St. Stephen Ministries, in partnership with 5x GRAMMY Award-winner PJ Morton, announced a special Thanksgiving Day book signing for Morton’s new memoir, “Saturday Night, Sunday Morning.” It will take place on Thursday, Nov. 28, at 10 a.m. at Greater St. Stephen (Morton Hall), 5600 Read Blvd.
Published by Worthy Publishing, an imprint of Hachette Book Group, “Saturday Night, Sunday Morning,” chronicles PJ Morton’s journey from preacher’s kid to celebrated genre-defying artist. The memoir dives deep into Morton’s path through faith, music and self-discovery, showcasing his resilience and independence as he navigated the challenges of the music industry while staying true to his spiritual roots.
“Greater St. Stephen Ministries is honored to host PJ Morton for this special Thanksgiving event,” said Bishop T. Delbert Robinson, Senior Pastor of Greater St. Stephen, in a release about the event. “His story is a powerful reflection of perseverance and the pursuit of purpose. We are excited to welcome him back to the place where his journey began, as he shares his inspiring story with our community during this season of gratitude.”
Embracing the significance of giving thanks, PJ Morton shared, “Holidays are for family and I’m excited to be coming home to Greater St. Stephen Ministries on Thanksgiving to sign copies of my new memoir. I hope ‘Saturday Night, Sunday Morning’ will inspire others to pursue their dreams, no matter the challenges they face. Looking back on my journey reminds me how powerful it is to follow your path, and I’m excited to share this reflection with others.”
