KID smART Welcomes Charlotte Kane and Nicholas Napolitano to The Team

NEW ORLEANS – KID smART recently welcomed Charlotte Kane as its managing director of individual giving and Nicholas Napolitano as its communications director. In these roles, they will help advance KID smART’s mission of engaging children and educators in dynamic, creative and relevant learning through the arts.

“We are thrilled to welcome Charlotte and Nicholas to the team,” said Elise Gallinot Goldman, executive director of KID smART. “Their extensive experience in the arts brings incredible depth to our work, and we can’t wait to see the unique impact their talents will have within our organization and in the communities we serve.”

Kane has utilized her bachelor’s degree in business management within the non-profit sector for the past 10 years, focusing primarily on arts and culture organizations. Her passion for building relationships and working with people naturally led her to a career in fundraising. She finds deep fulfillment in improving lives through the arts. Originally from central Illinois, Kane chose to make New Orleans her home after visiting frequently over nearly two decades.

Napolitano brings over a decade of experience in marketing and communications, having worked in both direct and contracted roles across diverse industries, including renewable energy, entertainment production, fashion, gaming and human resources. He specializes in brand strategy and implementation, copywriting and campaign creation and management.

Outside of his communications career, Napolitano is passionate about teaching and performing. He continues to teach improv and theater classes for teens and adults in his spare time.

Founded in 1999, KID smART has served more than 63,000 students and 11,000 teachers, providing underserved students with the opportunity to experience dynamic, creative, and relevant learning through the arts.
