NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans EMS is proud to announce it will soon graduate Academy Class 2023-03. Our most recent recruits, consisting of 2 paramedics, and 5 EMTs, are in their second week of in-class training. They will complete three weeks of in-class training, covering NOEMS clinical and operational guidelines.
After graduating from their academy training, they will move on to rigorous field training, before being cleared to provide care to the residents and visitors of the City of New Orleans. New Orleans EMS will be holding their graduation on Friday, December 15th, at 12 pm. These newest providers will be joined by family, friends, and fellow NOEMS personnel, as they are recognized for accepting the duties of an NOEMS provider, “So That Others May Live”.
