Little ghouls and goblins can delight in complimentary trick-or-treating, activities, entertainment and second line to the Krewe of BOO! parade
NEW ORLEANS – The Riverwalk Outlets is celebrating the spooky season with Halloween Fest on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 3-6 p.m. This complimentary family-friendly festival features trick-or-treat opportunities, spooktacular activities, Halloween-themed entertainment and second line out to the Krewe of BOO! parade for Riverwalk visitors.
“Halloween Fest is a great way for families to kick off the spooky season in downtown New Orleans,” said Yvette Gremillion-Watkins, general manager at Riverwalk Outlets. “We are delighted that this year’s event will feature even more activities for little ghouls and goblins to enjoy.”
The festivities begin at 3 p.m. in the Riverwalk’s food court with activities and entertainment, including face painting, costumed characters, jugglers, stilt walkers and more. The celebrations continue with trick-or-treating opportunities located throughout the mall. In partnership with Krewe of BOO! the event will conclude with Riverwalk’s guests being serenaded by a brass band and encouraged to second line their way to the Krewe of BOO! parade which rolls at 6:30 p.m. Parade goers will then have the opportunity to catch a “Ghoul’s Gold” Doubloon to access the Riverwalk Outlets VIP Coupon Book that includes savings worth over $500.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to shop for the latest fall styles at Riverwalk’s 75+ retailers, such as Coach Outlet, Karl Lagerfeld Paris, Nordstrom Rack, Tommy Bahama, Kate Spade and more.
Riverwalk Outlets is also currently offering free parking when you spend $100 at any combination of Riverwalk’s retailers. Shoppers must bring their same-day receipts to the security office on Level A or the Management Office on Level B. This promotion is only valid for the Hilton-owned “Whale” lot and available for a limited time.
