Hundreds Attend the New Orleans Chamber’s Women’s Leadership Conference

NEW ORLEANS — More than 600 registrants joined the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce for its fourth annual Power Up: Women’s Leadership Conference, presented by Fidelity Bank P.O.W.E.R (Potential of Women Entrepreneurs Realized).

The all-inclusive professional development conference, which is a collaboration with local women’s organizations, took place April 19, 2023, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center with 18 breakout sessions, three keynote sessions, and nearly two dozen exhibitors.

“The buzz at the Convention Center was extraordinary,” said Ron Stone, Senior Corporate Relations Advisor at Shell Deep Water Gulf of Mexico, and sponsor of the morning keynote session. “Every year, the conference is elevated to new and more impactful levels. All of us at Shell are so grateful for the strong partnership.”

“This is another example of the ways in which the Chamber gives its members a chance to shine,” he continued.

Power Up: Women’s Leadership Conference connects like-minded businesswomen pursuing career advancement and provides opportunities to help them accelerate their professional development.

“With owning multiple businesses, time management can be difficult,” said Heather Hutton, president and CEO of Nola Build Construction & Design Inc. “The Women’s Leadership Conference was extremely helpful; giving me the tools I need to improve my time management skills, making my business more efficient and profitable.”
