Flashmob New Orleans “Sumer of Dance, Love, & PRIDE – Workshop 2023,
The four-week session is open to the public and will be held May 20 through June 10 on Saturdays, from 2:00pm to 3: 30 p.m. at 1128 Dublin St. (at the corner of Oak and Dublin streets). The program is open to the public and designed for the family.
Classes will focus on fun popularized dance choreography of traditional New Orleans dances as well as Top 40 mainstream music favorites all synched into a flash mob extravaganza. Similar to the “Thriller” and “Beat It” flash mob series, “Sumer of Dance, Love, & PRIDE!” will trace the origins of dance culture, movement, and will conclude with several secret flash mob performances coinciding with Summer 2023. Get your costumes ready!
