$4.99 Amazon thermostats offered by Energy Smart for a limited time
NEW ORLEANS – Customers can celebrate Earth Day by saving energy with help from Energy Smart, Entergy New Orleans’ energy efficiency program.
For a limited time, Entergy New Orleans residential customers can purchase an Amazon Smart Thermostat from the Energy Smart Marketplace for just $4.99. This offer is valid April 19 through April 21, 2023.
In addition to the smart thermostat, customers can also purchase a 4-pack of Simply Conserve® flood LED light bulbs for 60% off through April 25, 2023.
“By becoming more energy efficient, customers can help lower greenhouse gas emissions while saving money on their bills,” said Derek Mills, demand side management manager at Entergy New Orleans. “The Energy Smart program plays an important part in providing customers more affordable energy and cost-saving products at discounted prices.”
The Amazon Smart Thermostat is ENERGY STAR®-certified with built-in voice control. Customers can track and manage energy use remotely with the Alexa app. On average, smart thermostats help customers save 10% to 15% on heating and cooling costs.
For additional savings, Entergy New Orleans residential customers can earn cash incentives for helping to reduce energy use during short periods of high electricity usage. Customers earn $50 when the smart thermostat is enrolled in the EasyCool Demand Response offering and earn a $25 incentive each additional year participated in the program. Visit

The Simply Conserve LED light bulbs are ENERGY STAR-certified and ideal for recessed lighting, track lighting and spotlights. LEDs use up to 90% less energy and last up to 25 times longer than traditional incandescent bulbs.
