Black Real Estate Week Heads to New Orleans, April 21st-23rd

Events to focus on diversity, innovation, wealth building All while highlighting the culture of the Crescent City

NEW ORLEANS — Black Real Estate Week (BREW) will bring together a host of real estate industry leaders, companies, investors and business minded creatives in a space that will not just focus on various forms of real estate education, but also help expand the working networks of those in attendance.

BREW is a 3 day conference of events, summits, keynote speeches, along with a full day Disrupt Development Summit on Friday which is focused explicitly on real estate development for minorities.

The brainchild of Real Estate broker and New Orleans native Meredith Dunbar, BREW’s plan is to make a meaningful contribution to the community, support diversity, along with highlighting innovation, wealth building and entrepreneurship.

Attendees will receive a comprehensive education on the latest trends, best practices and innovative solutions to challenges in the industry, to educate those interested in developing their own communities, subdivisions or multi-family housing units.

BREW’s Mission is to create more 1st generation black real estate developers.

Black Real Estate Week commences on Friday, April 21, 2023 with the “Disrupt Development Summit” featuring 9 high powered speakers including Booker Washington, founder and CEO of Techie Homes; Benaisha Poole-Watson of Prime One Lending; Daryl Jones, with the Integral Group; Donahue Baker, founder of Money Avenue; Ofu Ezeugwu of WYL; Ashley Scott with the Freedom Georgia Initiative; Donahue Peebles the Third of the Peebles Corporation, and Michael Merideth, CEO of VPG Enterprise, a real estate and construction firm based right here in New Orleans.

The events continue Saturday with Master Classes, Break Out sessions, and a VIP Experience.

BREW wraps up on Sunday with VIP Property Tours.
