Children’s Hospital and NOFD Team Up Feb. 4th for Family Outreach Day at Audubon Zoo in Honor of Burn Awareness Week

Fire engine and safe house burn demonstrations emphasizing kitchen safety

WHAT: Burn Awareness Week Family Outreach Day

WHEN: Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, from 10 a.m. – noon

WHERE: Audubon Zoo parking lot – 6500 Magazine Street, New Orleans LA, 70118

WHY: As the only pediatric burn program from Louisiana to Georgia, Children’s Hospital New Orleans is teaming up with NOFD in honor of National Burn Awareness Week to educate kids and families on the importance of kitchen safety. The Family Outreach Day is free to attend and will include interactive fire engine apparatus demonstrations, safe house burn demonstrations, kids’ activities, educational resources and more.
