Diverse and Inclusive Book Could Inspire and Encourage Children and Parents Alike

NEW ORLEANSLocal Indie Author Ty Salvant has launched a Kickstarter for The Alphabet of You, a new children’s book that helps children realize their potential while seeing various children, from infants to teens.

At a time when there is a focus on representation, The Alphabet of You depicts a beautiful array of children of various cultures,  ethnicities, and abilities expressing adjectives describing daily life.

Readers will be captivated by pictures of children of all ages in a colorful, inviting, and engaging format. Chosen adjectives enhance toddlers’ vocabulary and include a glossary to help them learn new words. ASL signs of the alphabet are also included!

The Alphabet of You is a children’s book for those between the ages of 3-6.

You can follow this project on kickstarter.com/thealphabetofyou from October 13th-November 12th. You’ll be able to help this project reach its goal of $10,000, which is about 500 preorders.

The Alphabet of You is Ty’s second Indie book. There is a Spanish version and similar books for older children coming soon. Visit her website for blogs and upcoming events www.timewithty.com
